Last chance to take advantage of the RénoVert tax credit!

Do you have a renovation project? The RénoVert program could allow you to save a significant amount of money.

This tax credit was established on March 17, 2016, by the Quebec government, and has been extended to mars 31st, 2019.

Its goal is to encourage Quebeckers to perform their renovations in an environmentally responsible manner. You can retrieve a tax credit of up to 20% of your qualified expenditures. The program’s eligible expenditures are capped at $52,500, which provides a $10,000 tax credit.

Who is it for?

The RénoVert tax credit is for owners and co-owners who wish to perform eco-friendly residential renovations in their primary residence. Eligible residences include detached and semi-detached houses, townhouses, factory-built houses, mobile homes, condominiums, apartments, and year-round cottages that are ordinarily occupied by the individual.

What type of work is eligible?

Eligible eco-friendly renovation work includes, among others, insulation of the roof, exterior walls, foundation and floor, replacement or addition of ENERGY STAR doors and/or windows, and installation of a green or white roof.

RénoVert also targets work involving the replacement or installation of heating, air conditioning, water heating, and ventilation systems. Please refer to the List of recognized eco-friendly renovation work for more information.
